electric dryer was rumbling - wheel or belt?

Unplugged dryer. Front came off easily. Removed front end of blower. Bicycle came off fairly hands - could then run into that shaft of motor was circular with flattened side merely within of former wheel was rounded. New wheel popped correct on. Took tumbler off so I could clean lint out more easily and get a good view of how the chugalug threaded through. Put the tumbler dorsum on and reached back with both hands to thread it. Took a half dozen tries until I was certain it was seated correctly and non twisted. Put front... of dryer back on. So far (a week or so) the rumble is gone. Dryer wouldn't heat

This was the first time I always attempted such a repair on an appliance, but it was fairly easy in one case I figured out how to accept the front of the dryer off! I was almost certain that the igniter was the trouble was it didn't glow like it did before. On this item LP Gas dryer from Maytag there is a niggling service door on the front end near the floor. It is nearly incommunicable to get your arm in at that place plus notwithstanding take room to smoothen lite in! I took off the two screws at an angle down nearly the flooring and the whole front came off. I used a mini socket wrench to disconnect the igniter. I didn't have to remove the screw as the part slips on over the screw, then you just tighten the screw, connect the cable and it worked perfectly! Thanks PartSelect! The Felt Gasket betwixt drum and door ripped, vent manifold from Dryer to fan and lint screen broken

I pulled the bottom console and the door panel to replace the manifold and felt gasket effectually the pulsate. I removed former gasket very hands, information technology peeled correct off. I apply brake cleaning fluid (Spray Tin from Auto Zone about $1.45) to remove old mucilage. Used spray contact cement (Elmer's about 4.l at Ace) and sprayed the panel and gasket surfaces and let dry. I then applied a 2nd coat and let get "tacky" and installed the gasket. You will need an extra ready of hands to hold the gasket in place while y'all stretch it over the the panel. The vent manifold is held in identify with 3 phillips screws and was installed in about 10 minutes. The only gripe I had was in the Parts-Select illustrated breakdown they don't tell you the lint screen comes with the manifold assembly, then I bought one of them besides.
